My vintage MirroCraft, with old Johnson and Mercury motors.
1965 MirroCraft outfitted with a 1958 Johnson Seahorse 35hp and a 1956 Mercury Super Silent 6. I bought this boat in March, 2023, I think it was. It had one owner, a boat and motor specialist whose daughters were into racing boats. So he kept this boat and the motors in good condition. Apparently he used this beast primarily for walleye fishing. I don’t know, but I fell in love with the motors. Below this walk-around is a short video of the first time I took the boat out. Camping up near Boulder Junction, Wisconsin, we fired it up and it ran pretty great. Haven’t tried the Mercury yet, because the gas line had deteriorated.

Just watching the bees for a few minutes
Rod and I took some film today after we checked the hive. There was a massive drone flight from the hive, with, according to Rod, 50-60 drones coming out and performing what amounted to "test flights" before re-entering the hive. I was hoping to film the scene but the drone flights had wound down considerably as I began filming. Still fun to watch the bees doing their thing.
